Morgen ist Shakespeare, der Mittsommernachtstraum, und während Harold Bloom meint, Shakespeare habe das Menschliche erfunden (Harold Bloom: Shakespeare. The Invention of the Human. Riverhead Books, New York 1998), kommt es mir manchmal so vor, als hätte sich Shakespeare das Leben erfunden. Und zwar als Traum des Menschen. Das ist im Midsummer Night’s Dream zu besichtigen.
